Pixar Easter Eggs

An Easter Egg is a hidden item placed in a movie, television show, or otherwise visual media for close watchers.

It originates from the the 1975 movie "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," when the cast had an Easter Egg hunt but most of the eggs went unfound. They can be seen throughout the film in various locations (such as under Frank N. Furter's throne) - urbandictionary.com

With this in mind it is great to see that someone has taken the time to absolutely pick apart the entire Pixar animated catalogue and display a whole stack of hidden Easter Eggs that are available to view throughout some of the massive releases that Pixar has played a role in (Toy Story, Cars, Monsters Inc, The Incredibles etc).

For example, have a look below and see one of the images which was taken of a vehicle Buzz Lightyear takes in Toy Story...

The dirty pizza van behind Buzz and Woody...

Then see the same car in the much later Pixar movie Cars.

...appears clearly here again in the lower left hand part of the screen

Apparently that car is in every single Pixar animated movie ever created. It's pretty interesting stuff, and there are a surprising amount of recurring characters throughout the entire amount of features. If you are keen on having a look through then check out the site here.
