The teen-pregnancy comedy Juno is absolutely storming Australia at the moment, with the movie gaining significant success, getting all kinds of good numbers at the box-office, while also pleasing just about everyone ranging from snarling critics, to happy-go-lucky movie fans.
We have managed to get some great shorts which show interviews between the actress Ellen Page, who plays the lead role in the film, and Juno's writer Diablo Cody.
They all download pretty quick and are able to be streamed, so if you are keen to learn a bit more behind some of the scenes in the film then this would be a pretty good place to start.

All the while she was blogging about the seedy underbelly of the stripping business, a project that became so popular and successful that she eventually turned it into a book titled Candy Girl.
Candy Girl is the only entry in the ultra-exclusive David Letterman book club - the late night comedian being so taken with the book that he had Cody appear on his show.

Running off the success of Candy Girl, her manager encouraged her to try her hand at penning a screenplay. Fast forward a few months and Jason Reitman is directing Juno, Diablo Cody is the toast of the town and theatres around the world are packed to the rafters with punters keen to experience the tender coming-of-age story.

It's funny how we are surprised that someone who takes their clothes off for a living could be smart and funny, could write books and screenplays. The stereotype of the writer is bookish, brainy, not sensual. But writing is a bodily act after all, it's physical, it comes from the same place as stripping.
