Our friends over at Empire Magazine have managed to score quite the scoop in getting a new image taken directly from the upcoming Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Showing Harrison Ford holding an RPG launcher, and Shia LeBeouf looking over with a slightly worried expression, one can only imagine any number of scenario's that they are about to encounter in the latest movie of the blockbuster franchise.


Personally I can't wait.

Speculation is still rife as to the actual plot and story of the film, with everyone keeping fairly tight-lipped as to what it all is about. The biggest hints as to the direction of the film came from chatty 24 year old extra Tyler Nelson, who let slip a number of key plotlines to his local paper in September last year.

No doubt Tyler's budding movie career has been significantly stunted as a result of his talkative ways.

Spoiler Warning

• The main story in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull consists of Indiana Jones racing against the Soviets to obtain a crystal skull located deep in the South American jungle.

• Indy’s family - his son (Shia LaBeouf) and his former girlfriend (Karen Allen) - who is returning to character after her role in the original Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark - are threatened by the Russians once Indy is captured.

• When Indy is captured by the Russians, he is interrogated by Cate Blanchett.
