Joss Whedon To Return

He has made scores of fans worldwide with his massive hits such as Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel and the not-quite-as-popular (but still brilliant) series Firefly. It's been a long time coming, but Joss Whedon will soon be back with a new show.

The show, set to hit the Fox network late 08/early 09, is titled "Dollhouse", and stars former Buffy regular Eliza Dushku in the main role of "Echo". The series is about a group of men and women who have different personalities given to them so they can complete different assignments. Upon the completion of the assignment, their memories are wiped entirely.

The "blanks" then live out their lives like children, housed in the laboratory environment of "Dollhouse" until they once again are deemed "Active" and assigned a new personality and mission. Their missions are top secret and illegal, and they are hunted down by both Government agencies and a bent-on-revenge former Active.

Eliza Dushku's role of Echo is that of an Active who is becoming self-aware, despite having her memory erased time and time again after successful missions.

Expect action, humour and conspiracies. This one sounds terrific. For all those that missed the Joss Whedon shows when they were on free-to-air, do yourself a favour and add a few of the titles to your Queue.
