Shrek Forever After trailer debut!

source: traileraddict.com

The trailer for Shrek Forever After, the fourth installment of the Shrek franchise, has debuted online.

This trailer really caught me by surprise. Not in terms of quality, because I think we can agree there’s nothing really new to see here. Just in terms of the fact that there is a trailer for the new Shrek movie! Perhaps it was a combination of my own ignorance and my complete lack of desire to see another Shrek, but I really thought this flick was a few years away from hitting cinemas. I guess not.

Frankly, the Shrek franchise has worn out its welcome with me. I did enjoy the first one, but the second one (while still funny) was already providing diminishing returns. Now we’re onto the fourth one.

But, I’m probably in the minority. I’m sure there are a lot of you out there looking forward to Shrek Forever After. Let us know your thoughts on the trailer in the comments section below!

Whoa! What kinda wacky shenanigans are going on in there?

Shrek Forever After hits Australian cinemas June 10, 2010. It features the vocal stylings of Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz and Antonio Banderas.

  1. I have to admit I'm little over Shrek. I'm surprised there is a fourth Shrek at all. I mean don't get me wrong the first Shrek is one of my all time favourite movies. The second one was funny but lets face it, it was like a gag fest with no plot. And the third one was just lame. This one from the trailer looks like it has some jokes that will probably make you smile but it's not something I'd pay to see at the cinema and certainly not an IMAX ticket.

  2. Loved the first one, hated the second one (I haven't watched it again to see just how dated the references have become) and didn't even bother with the third. Methinks I'll five number four a miss.
