Must Watch: Synecdoche New York Q&A from Ebertfest 2010

Here is one for fans of Charlie Kaufman‘s 2008 masterpiece Synecdoche New York. Roger Ebert recently screened the film – which he considers the best of the past decade – at his Overlooked Film Festival (commonly known as Ebertfest). The screening was followed by a pretty great Q&A with director and screenwriter Kaufman. Check it out below!

Part 1

Part 2

Check out the rest of the Q&A here.

Also, take a look at Ebert introducing Kaufman (with his new fancy talking computer).

Finally, if Ebert’s approval wasn’t enough, you can check out my 5-star review of Synecdoche New York; a truly great, life-changing movie.

Discuss: Your thoughts on Synecdoche, New York and Kaufman in general?
