The thought of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo star Noomi Rapace smiling is unusual enough, let alone the idea of her playing a 1960s pop star. So, we better get used to it before the Anita Lindblom biopic hits cinema screens.
According to Movieline, Rapace is set to star as Lindblom in a film directed by Twilight‘s Catherine Hardwicke. The film will focus on the singer’s romance with boxer Högberg (to be played by Rapace’s husband Ola).
Unfortunately, my knowledge of Swedish pop history is pretty light. Rapace is a fine actress however, so I’m sure she’ll slide into the role of Lindblom with ease.
Discuss: Any Swedish pop aficionados out there? Is Noomi a good fit?
