Will Ferrell wants to Swear to God

Will Ferrell is attached to a spec script by Due Date writers Alan Cohen and Alan Freedland, entitled Swear to God. According to Deadline, Warner Bros has acquired the script, and regular Ferrell collaborator Adam McKay is set to produce.

Ferrell would play “a narcissistic hedge fund manager who thinks he has seen God”. Although described as a buddy comedy, it is unknown who the character opposite the hedge fund manager would be. We pray it’s the Lord Himself, a’la Oh, God.

But even if God fails to make an appearance in the film, it’s always fun to watch Ferrell scream at the heavens.
