The 24 movie is supposedly still on track to start shooting in 2012, with the finished screenplay set to be handed in to Fox by the end of the year.
According to Deadline, Mark Bomback (The Wolverine) is tweaking Billy Ray’s script ahead of the projected April start date (this is when star Kiefer Sutherland will be available).
The studio is considering five different directors to helm the adaptation of the popular TV show. Brian Grazer will produce.

How can you make a 24 movie? the whole concept was that it was a full 24 hours, shown in 24 hours worth of tv. Either the movie is going to have to be 24 hours long, or its not going to be a 24 movie, its just an excuse to blow stuff up.
