Warner Bros has renewed their purchase of the domain Gremlins3.com – just in time for Christmas! – Moviehole reports.
Although this would seem to indicate at least a hint of interest from WB in producing another Gremlins movie, Moviehole rightfully implores us to take that news with a pinch of salt.
They do note, however, that the studio isn’t merely in the business of snapping up URLs (Lethal Weapon 5 and The Goonies 2 are not reserved).
Although a source says they’ve “heard things” about a third Gremlins film, there are no concrete plans.

I’m happy with just Gremilns 1 & 2, thanks.
No. Too much time has passed for it to be remotely of interest these days. About as worthy as a Grease and Dirty Dancing remake.
