Wish You Were Here gets Australian release date

Kieran Darcy-Smith‘s thriller Wish You Were Here is one of our most anticipated films of 2012 (our fourth most anticipated, in fact), and our excitement has only escalated since it opened the Sundance Film Festival late last week.

The Aussie production stars Joel EdgertonTeresa PalmerFelicity Price and Anthony Starr as four holidaymakers in Cambodia, only three of whom return home.

It’s received some very nice notices from The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, and Hitfix - though it was panned by The Playlist.

Hopscotch Films took to Facebook to announce the Australian release date. Get ready to mark your calendars! It’s April 5, 2012.
