Aussie to play Prince in Disney’s Maleficent

Australian actor Brenton Thwaites has been cast opposite Angelina Jolie in Disney’s upcoming take on the Sleeping Beauty saga, Maleficent.

According to Deadline, the former Home and Away star will play the young prince to Elle Fanning‘s Princess Aurora and Jolie’s evil queen.

Robert Stromberg will direct.
