The first theatrical trailer for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 has been released, whetting fans’ appetites for the film’s November 16 release.
In the final instalment of Stephenie Meyer’s saga, directed by Bill Condon, Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattinson) are happily married and are “both the same temperature” now that Bella has transitioned into a vampire.
The trailer sets up the final battle between the Volturi, led by Aro (Michael Sheen), and the Cullens, who are joined by some vegetarian friends. Led to believe that Edward and Bella’s child Renesmee is a mortal child that has been bitten, the Volturi seek to protect the exposure of vampires by eliminating the Cullens.
As the trailer suggests, Part 2 will be jam packed with action, letting Bella do more in a few seconds of the trailer than she has for the entire series so far.
