Lost director works on feature film Devolution

Prolific television director Jack Bender is developing a feature film entitled Devolution, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Bender is best known for helming some of the best Lost episodes, although his work in television goes back over 30 years, including such series asĀ Beverly Hills 90210, Northern Exposure, The Sopranos and Carnivale. He has delved into the world of feature films once or twice but the most notable title we could find in this regard was Child’s Play 3.

Plot details for Devolution are being kept under wraps but we do know it’s based on an original idea by Max Brooks, acclaimed author of zombie novel World War Z, and the screenplay will be written by David Leslie Johnson, who penned a few episodes of The Walking Dead. It would be safe to assume that Devolution is something zombie related and not a romantic comedy.

Discuss: Is the prospect of yet another zombie-related film even remotely exciting?
