Eli Roth might direct Russell Crowe as Dracula

Russell Crowe has long been attached to play Dracula in Harker, a reimagining of Bram Stoker’s classic tale. The film might finally be taking shape now that a director is ready to come on board.

According to Deadline, Eli Roth (Hostel) is in talks to direct Lee Shipman and Brian McGreevy’s screenplay. Jaume Collet-Serra was previously set to helm.

Roth and Crowe recently worked together on RZA‘s The Man with the Iron Fists.
