The vehicles were certainly more plausible than the previous movies wherein the car would drive up walls and the like. At the end of the day its a superhero film. I m...</title><content type='html'>Yes, the Batmobile was a bit much in the film. I may be the only person brave enough to admit it, but I found the Batmobile and Batcycle beyond plausibility. As your photos point out, the car used in the movie and the smaller version really do show quite a difference. It would have been a wry comic touch if Batman had used a smaller vehicle, for current economic purposes. That would have brought a smile.  I absolutely disliked both vehicles and came to realize during the movie that those two vehicles and Batman's suit were all external armor, for a "hero" who had no superpowers.  I would have rather seen Batman himself and his external armor scaled down and have him be more human; perhaps next movie.
